THIS JUST IN is a brand-new youth oriented single camera comedy that is best described as "zany with a heart" Elizabeth Stanton stars as a socially repressed teenager who arrives at a new school and falls quickly into a group of rather eclectic friends each with their own issues. They each find that they have a unique bond all centering around the school's television and social media channels. The characters refer to the viewer quite often by breaking the fourth wall as they vlog their commentaries on events of the day. This allows the viewer to be involved as "one of the friends".

Sam Zien (aka Sam the Cooking Guy) has the unique ability to teach even the culinary novice how to prepare delicious, healthy dishes by making things simple--specifically by keeping the number of steps and ingredients to a minimum. Everything you see on Just Cook This is the genuine article...it's his kitchen, his dog, and his own unique sense of humor. Some of Sam's favorite recipes include mushroom and goat cheese pizza, his signature shrimp tacos, and an incredible Thai curried chicken. As part of the Discovery Health family, Sam is focused on using wholesome, natural ingredients and encouraging healthy eating habits.

Harry Stadlin becomes the new editor of the magazine West Coast, a California publication. He finds himself with a talented staff who are a little eccentric with complicated lives.

Frank is a confident, charming author with a secret mistress in London; a relationship he wants to keep casual. Frank's secret is a burden he bears lightly, but he finds himself increasingly drawn into examining his unworthiness which ultimately horrifies him. Maria, an artist, is his good humoured wife putting a brave face on his neglect. Feeling increasingly emotional and isolated as she approaches middle age, she eventually breaks down admitting her loneliness at Frank's absences. The cathartic point of the film is when Michael, the co-owner of the cottage where they're staying, pays a visit with a woman other than his wife. Not knowing that he has left his wife and has moved in with this other woman, embarrassment and awkwardness increase, straining this social setting. With the illicit couple hot-footing it back to the city, Frank and Maria are left feeling threatened trying to reason the situation, at the midst of which lies Frank's secret.

In five acts, this film explores the language of loss through dance, narrative scenes, and performance art, conveying the complexity of grief in the, often wordless way it impacts all our lives.
